Credo
February 23, 2014I ran across Doug Mataconis’ blog Below The Beltway in late 2009. Apparently he stopped updating it in late 2011. Sometimes it takes me a while to get around to things, but I’d like to say how impressed I was by his blog’s tagline:
I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.
How concise! If I were planning to run for office, I’d try to hire Mr. Mataconis to write speeches for me.
